Luca Esposito, who was killed in the Salerno area, was born on 4 July 1973 and had been a member of the Campania Association of Freelance Journalists since 2012.
In his Instagram profile bio, he wrote that he was editor-in-chief of TuttoSalernitana.com, a commentator for OttoChannel and a columnist for TuttoC.com, the TMW network’s Serie C news site.
He used to talk to his 15,000 followers about sport and the transfer market.
Esposito, whose full name was Luigi, had always gone by the name Luca and signed his articles and television reports as such. A graduate in biology with a second degree in literature, he had always been passionate about sport.
