In July and November the sessions for qualifying for the professions

The first and second sessions of the 2026 State examinations for professional qualifications will be held in July and November. This is provided for in the orders of the Minister for Universities and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, which set out the procedures for holding the examinations.

The State Bar Examinations will be held on 27 July 2026 for the first session. While the examination for the second session is scheduled for 16 November 2026. The dates are unique nationwide. To take the Examination, candidates must send their applications to the university where they intend to take the test no later than 24 June 2026 and 21 October 2026 for the first and second sessions, respectively.

The Ordinance of the Minister for the profession of Certified Public Accountants and Accounting Experts also provides for supplementary examinations for the licence to practise as a statutory auditor within the examination sessions. The State Examinations for access to the roll - Section A - of Certified Public Accountants and Accounting Experts will begin in all locations for the first session on 27 July 2026 and for the second session on 16 November 2026 . The examinations for access to the roll - section B - shall begin at all locations for the first session on 31 July 2026 and, for the second session, on 20 November 2026 .

State examinations are provided for the licensing of the professions of chartered accountant and expert accountant, dentistry, pharmacist, veterinary surgeon, physicist and junior physicist, food technologist, actuary and junior actuary, chemist and junior chemist, engineer and junior engineer, architect, planner, landscape architect, conservator and junior architect and junior planner, biologist and junior biologist, geologist and junior geologist, psychologist, doctor of psychological techniques for social, organisational and labour contexts and doctor of psychological techniques for personal and community services, agronomist and doctor of forestry, agronomist and junior forester, agricultural biotechnologist, specialist social worker and social worker.
