Justice and Pnrr, resources found to stabilise over 9,000 people
The planned 6,000 positions are increased to 9,368 at a cost of EUR 349 million. The category most affected is that of process office workers

In a few hours, on the occasion of the opening ceremonies of the judicial year, the subject of the resources available to the administration of justice will predictably be the subject of controversy. And among the resources, those for personnel will have the highest visibility, particularly on the side of the stabilisation of trial office staff. Moreover, a few days ago the ANM had asked to be heard by the European Commission on the possible dispersion of the human capital accrued during the Pnrr experience.
The increase in personnel
Yesterday, however, to the trade unions that signed the sector's collective agreement, thus excluding CGIL and Usb, the DOG (Department of the Organisation of Justice) announced a significant increase in the number of Pnrr personnel that will be stabilised as of next1 July. Out of the 11,211 workers currently serving on fixed-term contracts in the context of the initial quota Pnrr hires, the 6,000 stabilisations announced will rise to 9,368.
More specifically, this will involve 1,565 assistants and 7,803 officials, the majority of whom are process office workers. The total commitment of the ministry to make the operation sustainable is 349. This still leaves out 1,832 figures. Hiring capacities have also been identified for the stabilisation of all precarious former trainee operators in Calabria and for 1,500 vertical progressions in derogation of the ministry's personnel.
For Lina Di Domenico, head of the Dog, this is 'a significant effort, which makes it possible to hold together different needs, such as the legitimate aspirations of so many workers who have given excellent proof in recent years, also allowing the administration of justice to acquire new professional skills and experiment more innovative organisational models, and, at the same time, not to mortify the internal staff for whom resources have in any case been identified to ensure legitimate career progressions'.
Di Domenico, with regard to the timeframe for the start of the recruitment procedures, assures that the intervals will start at the end of February, which will make it possible to meet the 1 July deadline.
