Kia celebrates the first 25 years of its partnership with the Australian Open. Showcasing the new EV9 and EV4 models
Kia will also be present at the 2026 Australian Open tennis tournament celebrating the 25th anniversary of the partnership. The global 'Move Different' campaign featuring EV4 was presented for the occasion.
On the occasion of the AO2026 tennis tournament, scheduled from 18 January to 1 February, Kia will provide 130 official vehicles for the players, reinforcing its electrification strategy and sustainability goals for the event. In detail, 55 electric vehicles will be present, including 30 EV9s and 25 EV5s, which will be joined by a fleet of another 75 hybrid vehicles consisting of 50 Carnival Hybrids and 25 Sportage Hybrids.
This year, the fleet available to the players is distinguished by the highest percentage of electric vehicles in the history of the Australian Open, over 40 per cent.
Kia brought 100% battery-powered vehicles to the AO for the first time in 2024. In 2025, the fleet consisted of only electrified vehicles (electric and hybrid). For the 2026 edition, the Korean manufacturer will further expand Bev's presence, demonstrating constant progress towards sustainable mobility in major global events.

Kia is showing PV5 Cargo, its first 100% electric Platform Beyond Vehicle, in Australia, which has won the prestigious 2026 International Van of the award, the highest accolade for light commercial vehicles.
Alongside it, the electric portfolio consisting of the EV4, EV5, EV6 and EV9. In addition, dedicated stands will offer more in-depth information on sustainability through interactive technology displays.
