Kia at Milan Design Week: two exhibitions on design and its evolution
Two complementary installations that explore the dialogue between opposites, translating their design vision into immersive experiences between research, sustainability and innovation.
On the occasion of Milan Design Week, which runs from 20 to 26 April, Kia presents two exhibitions dedicated to the theme 'Resonance of Opposites', inspired by the brand's evolving design philosophy, 'Opposites United'.
For the fourth year in a row at the Milanese kermesse, the Korean brand presents two exhibitions: 'Journey of Reflection', hosted at the Museo della Permanente, and 'Journey of Projection', set up at the Salone dei Tessuti. Both aim to outline a more sustainable future, driven by curiosity and constant innovation.
"Journey of Reflection" at the Museo della Permanente invites visitors to immerse themselves in the deeper universe of Kia Design, articulated through three fundamental cultural dimensions. The journey offers an emotional experience built on the perspectives, approaches of designers and the reflective processes that give rise to ideas. In the evening, the space hosts lectures and artistic performances dedicated to the cultural themes explored by the exhibition.
'Journey of Projection' at the Salone dei Tessuti, on the other hand, develops the reflections that emerged in the first exhibition and applies them to the present and the future. The exhibition illustrates how the Kia philosophy is concretely translated into product design. The exhibition space also includes a selection of six concept cars, each representative of a specific phase in the evolution of the brand's design strategy.
