Kia Stonic, prices and equipment unveiled for the new series, now also hybrid
Profoundly renewed, the compact crossover will be available from the end of November
Key points
A popular model in Italy, the Kia Stonic gets an all-round makeover and comes with a range redefined by more accessory equipment and now complemented by a new version with a hybrid engine.
Kia Stonic, how it changes
The revision of the Stonic massively affects both the restyled line following the brand's current stylistic course and the cabin. Inside, the updated interior is combined with an upgrade in digitalisation that also brings on board a maxi-screen made up of the two 12.3" displays of the instrumentation and infotainment that is always connected and with integrated navigation on the top of the range version and, in some versions, even wireless mirroring for smartphones and wireless charging. In addition, like the latest Kia models, the revamped Stonic adopts the display that switches between on-board service controls and multimedia system functions.
Kia Stonic, the new engine range
The 2026 edition of the Stonic is offered with two powertrains: the debutant 48-volt mild-hybrid 1-litre three-cylinder supercharged with 115 horsepower that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and its non-electrified variant with 100 horsepower, available only with the manual transmission. A bifuel LPG version will also be available soon.
Kia Stonic, fittings, prices and equipment
For the Stonic there is the Urban trim reserved for the less powerful version, Style available for both engines and Gt-line offered only for the 48-volt mild-hybrid variant. The price list starts at 22,800 euros and goes up to 30,750 euros. However, until 31 December there are loyalty discounts for those who trade in their Stonic, finance packages starting at 129 euros per month, fire and theft insurance for one year and an additional package of technological accessories for the Style trim for a total value of up to 5,300 euros.
In terms of equipment, the Urban already offers seven years of Kia Connect services, alloy wheels and a host of safety and driver assistance systems, while the more equipped Style also adds automatic climate control and any body colour at no extra charge. Finally, the Gt-line not only complements the Stonic's outfit with some personalising details but also has equipment that includes digital key 2.0 and the Adas package for level 2 semi-assisted driving.
