Kiev, 10 injured in Ternopil and 3 in Poltava in Russian raids

Ten people were wounded in the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil as a result of the Russian raids last night, as part of the massive attack that hit several areas of the country. This was reported by the regional governor, Viacheslav Nehoda. The attack damaged industrial facilities and infrastructure, leaving parts of the city without electricity and interrupting the water supply. Three people were also injured in the central region of Poltava. Russia also targeted the western regions of Lviv and Khmelnytskyi, as well as the northern region of Chernihiv and the capital Kiev.
- The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that air defences shot down 10 Ukrainian drones that were heading towards the Russian capital. Flights at Moscow airports were temporarily suspended overnight as a precaution. The Ukrainian drones also targeted three other regions in Russia, authorities said, injuring three people and damaging residential buildings and industrial facilities.
Meanwhile, a locomotive derailed today in the Russian region of Belgorod after the tracks were blown up. This was reported by the governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov. Russia recently accused Ukraine of sabotaging the railway network.
