In parallel football with Lamine Yamal
Suddenly he appears, eighteen years old and the not easy task of replacing Lewis Hamilton. In Miami, the first pole of his career, the mini Sprint pole, enough to be celebrated worldwide. Kimi Antonelli took the stage after the show in Florida: "The performance of the driver from Bologna is reminiscent of what Lamine Yamal has done in football in the last two years," writes the Spanish Marca, comparing the formula 1 rookie with the Barcelona talent. "In the final attempt, a young man named Andrea Kimi Antonelli," underlines the "sports daily", "a rookie in F1 and at this very track in Miami, came out on top, obtaining the best time and his first grid position. He turned 18 last August and some said it was madness to put him in Hamilton's place, but he overtook Russell (5th) like a veteran and is already aiming to become a star in a rapidly changing F1".
