The 23 students enrolled in the new four-year experimental class in 'Communication Design International School' ready to start in Ferrara, at the IIS 'Luigi Einaudi' will have the same preparation as their colleagues in the traditional five-year course in Graphics and Communication. But in 2028 they will already be able to enter the labour market - or specialise at the ITS with the 4+2 formula, or enrol at university - with comprehensive skills in multimedia communication including graphics, web design, video-making, gaming, 3D models and virtual reality. "We have developed a methodological-didactical proposal aligned with the European training plans divided into two two-year periods, which cadences the subjects of address from the first year, within an integrated pathway in the technological supply chain of the creative industries with ITS Fitstic, Aeca (the regional association of vocational training bodies) and six Emilian hi-tech companies already partners of the school through Ptco," explains the school director, Marianna Fornasiero. Satisfied, despite the tight timeframe to plan the course, to have filled the class and to have had the support of most of the teaching staff. The school calendar is similar to that of the five-year course, with an extra hour of lessons from Monday to Friday for a total of 35 classroom hours per week. Of which 5 hours of co-teaching by two teachers on specific topics worth twice as much and many more hours dedicated to Stem subjects, the English language and practice with the debut of 'active laboratories' (full immersion weeks for the address disciplines), thanks to the collaborations signed also with the British school in Lugo, the Mathematics department of the University of Ferrara, the Franchi Foundation and the 3D Academy in Florence, as well as local authorities and Cna.
