Kpmg creates innovation hub for business and public administration in Naples

KPMG opens a new office in Naples. "KPMG Open Platform" is an innovative hub of solutions for businesses and public administration, which will be operational from 1 October next and will provide stable employment for around 400 young graduates in the area. The investment, which is part of KPMG's growth strategy, aims to create an innovative platform of solutions for all network clients nationwide.
High-Tech Solutions
.In particular, the new structure, which will be based at the Centro Direzionale in Naples and will occupy an area of about 3,000 square metres, will deal with the development of a series of high-tech solutions: cyber security solutions; programme management on large public sector transformation projects; managed services; and management and evolution of application platforms.
Five locations and 6,000 professionals
.Kpmg, which has been present in Italy for over 65 years, today boasts a capillary presence throughout the country with 25 offices from Bolzano to Palermo and over 6,000 professionals. The network is a market leader in advisory services, particularly in the areas of management consulting, risk management, and ICT consulting, especially for companies in the public sector and healthcare.
Core Academy
The service company was already present in Naples, with an office of around 150 professionals. With the new project, it aims to strengthen the ecosystem already present in the area. This includes, for example, the 'Core Academy' project developed with the Federico II University, which every year aims to train 40 young graduates in the most innovative areas of the public sector, as well as the many projects developed in recent years for all the main institutions in the area on topics such as the implementation of PNRR funds, digital transformation paths, and the innovation of service models in the health sector.
"KPMG Open Platform" aims to recruit and train young talents in the field who will be able to confront the most advanced digital frontier. The aim, in fact, is to integrate technologies such as AI, D&A, Internet of Things. KPMG also intends to exploit in the project its entire network of alliances with the most important technology players at global level such as Microsoft, Sap, Oracle, Service Now, Google, Salesforce.
