The Antimafia signs an agreement with the Chinnici Foundation on legality and young people
Collaboration will also focus on the production of teaching materials and the organisation of debates on issues of legality, democracy and public ethics
The Anti-Mafia Parliamentary Commission, headed by Chiara Colosimo, and the Rocco Chinnici Foundation, chaired by Giovanni Chinnici, son of the judge murdered by the Mafia, signed a memorandum of understanding today at Palazzo San Macuto to promote joint initiatives to educate on legality and active citizenship, with a particular focus on involving the younger generations. The agreement envisages the implementation of training activities, awareness-raising initiatives and cultural projects aimed at schools and universities, with the aim of disseminating knowledge of mafia phenomena and enhancing the memory of mafia victims. The collaboration will also focus on the production of teaching materials and the organisation of discussion moments on the themes of legality, democracy and public ethics. The one-year protocol is part of the institutional activities for the cultural fight against mafias and strengthens the synergy between institutions and civil society.
