The digitally native furniture company

founded in 1999, Mobili Fiver has a special feature: it specialises in the production of quality made-in-Italy furniture with online sales only. The idea came from five siblings, aged between 32 and 44: "Each of us joined the company at our own pace, to help our family, which was involved in contract manufacturing: craftsmanship is a difficult job. We wanted to bring our contribution without touching the existing business relationships, and this is why our brand was born and why we chose to distribute only through e-commerce," explains Ronny Gobbo, managing director: with him Rossella Gobbo (administrative director), Romina Gobbo (human resources director), Riki Gobbo (facility & production director) and Roger Gobbo (purchasing & production director). It is based in the Pordenone area, and last March, to strengthen its position in the international market, a new logistics centre was opened in Prata di Pordenone.

The company's growth over the years is marked by a projected turnover for 2023 of 39.5 million euros, including both Mobili Fiver Srl, which manages the European market, and Mobili Fiver USA for the US market: "We have a base in Indiana, which is necessary to maintain a certain assortment close to that market.

"We started before Amazon, which we then took as a challenge. An important role is customer feedback: if I go to a physical shop I ask people who have already been there, if I buy online I trust the opinions of others. Our score is 4.9 out of 5," adds Ronny. Fiver has increased production by 65 per cent in the last year: tables, bookcases, consoles, everything for the home. With experience and technology 'you overcome the difficulty of choosing a piece of furniture without seeing or touching it, because today Amazon also allows you to see how it will look in your space'. The company operates on an area of 21 thousand square metres with 18 employees, which will be 25 by the end of the year.
