Change at the top of the Italian Stellantis brand
Luca Napolitano is no longer CEO of Lancia. In his place has been appointed Roberta Zerbi. Napolitano has in turn been appointed head of Stellantis & You Sales and Service and will report to Jean-Philippe Imparato. While Zerbi will report to Emanuele Cappellano, Head of European Markets and Pro One.
It is not known whether Luca Napolitano has been replaced following Lancia's lacklustre results and the failure of the new Ypsilon to take off on the market. A graduate of Luiss Guido Carli in Rome and with an mba from Warwick Business School, Roberta Zerbi has dedicated her entire career to the automotive industry, working in Italy, the UK, France and Belgium in national and regional roles. She joined Ford in 1998, starting her career in Italy in sales and marketing, and then moved to Toyota where, from 2006 to 2008, she managed the Toyota Rendez-Vous in Paris and later the commercial operations for Eastern Europe and Russia based in Brussels.
In 2011 Roberta joined Fiat for the launch of the new Panda, then in 2014 she took over as cross-brand marketing director for Fiat, Abarth, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Jeep in Italy. In 2015, she became Alfa Romeo and Jeep Country Manager, before taking over the leadership of the Alfa Romeo brand for the Emea area from 2017 to 2019. Within Stellantis, she took over responsibility for the Alfa Romeo and Lancia brands for the Enlarged Europe area in 2021, before leading the Stellantis & You Sales and Service direct sales network from 2023.
