Lancia returns to the WRC with the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale
The four-wheel-drive version of the city car from Turin is ready to debut at the Monte-Carlo rally scheduled for 22-25 January 2026
Lancia announced its return to world rallying by unveiling in Satory, France, the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale that will make its debut at the first round of the WRC, the Monte-Carlo.
Just over a year after the announcement of Lancia's return to rallying and more than 100 Ypsilon HF rally4s sold, the Turin-based marque widens its scope by announcing that it will take part in eight rounds of the world championship in the WRC2 category with the new Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.
A moment that enthusiasts had been waiting for for decades and which was proclaimed by the outgoing CEO, Luca Napolitano, together with the newly appointed CEO of Lancia, Roberta Zerbi.
Excitement is high and expectations are also high for the new car, which will be involved in the world championship, but programmes are also planned at national level.
At the moment, the line-up that will be deployed has not yet been revealed, but, according to official sources, it will be announced before the Christmas holidays.
