Lazio: Angelilli announces 500 million in investment for businesses this year

Of which 100 million have already been grounded

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - “In 2026, we will invest a further 500 million euros or so, of which around 100 million have already been secured.” This was announced by Roberta Angelilli, Vice-President and Councillor for Economic Development and Industry of the Lazio Region, during the update on the Lazio Industrial Plan, held today in Rome.

“We published,” he added, “a series of calls for proposals in April. Then there is a second phase, which will begin in September, with €200 million in financial instruments and the same amount in non-repayable grants. Our objectives are to increase the size of businesses, boost exports, attract investment and foster innovation.”

“In 2025,” the vice-president recalled, “we presented a plan worth around half a billion euros; we secured financial contributions totalling 310 million euros and non-repayable grants of around 200 million.”
