The 2026 edition of the Festival of Economics has begun and Trento is alive with meetings, debates, round tables and reflections around this year's theme: 'From the market to new powers. The hopes of young people'. In the event, conceived by the Il Sole 24 ORE Group together with Trentino Marketing, HTSI is also a protagonist with a schedule of meetings aimed at exploring human capital, the value of creativity in the world of cultural, musical, artistic and high manufacturing production.
It starts on Thursday 21, at 5 p.m., at Palazzo Sardagna, with an in-depth discussion on new leadership and how to become 'the best version of ourselves'. A dialogue with Tommaso Arenare, a professional who has navigated through complexity, working for almost a decade as an investment banker in the largest international realities and for twenty years in strategic consulting, following successions of CEOs, corporate governance and advising boards of directors. On the stage of the Sala delle Scienze he will talk about change and choices to achieve the only real goal that counts in life, happiness. Also on Thursday 21, at 6.30 p.m., a round table on Ulysses and contemporary sirens will be held in Palazzo Benvenuti. Writer Emanuele Aldvrovandi and philologist Luigi Spina will discuss the most enduring of myths, that of the voyage of knowledge, which has become part not only of the collective imagination, but also of pop culture and economy;
On Friday 22, at 10 am, we return to Palazzo Sardagna to talk about work as a life project. Not just a source of income, but a space in which identity drives, social relations, dreams are intertwined. Among the protagonists of the round table, there will be the founder of the Mezzopieno Movement, Luca Streri, who promotes gratitude as a managerial force and the culture of positivity as a tool for collective change, the social entrepreneur Silvia Polleri, the president of Spazio 3R Chiara Ceretti and the social cooperator Leonardo Costantini.
Also on Friday 22, at 12.15 p.m., the appointment is at the Chamber of Commerce where the cultural economist Franco Broccardi will dialogue with the trapper Villabanks and the bookmaker Martina Levato.
