Leapmotor has released some official photos of the B10, the new sedan from Stellantis' Chinese partner that will make its debut at the Shanghai Motor Show 2025. The car bears an obvious resemblance to the B10 suv to be sold in China with the key difference being that it is a sedan and not an suv like the B10. There is, as yet, no further news, although the electric powertrain used by the B10 suv could also equip the new sedan.
Like the B10, in fact, the B01 saloon has a front end very similar to the B10 SUV, since it includes narrow headlights, an LED light bar and a blacked-out bumper section. In addition, the side parts are decidedly plain, as they offer flush door handles for the first time. At the rear, finally, there are more LED lights and an additional light bar. As if to say that the new saloon takes its style from the SUV and vice versa.
It is likely that two powertrains using CALB's lithium-iron phosphate batteries will be offered as was done with the B10 suv. The entry-level model of the B01 could have a 179 hp (132 kW) electric unit while the top model a more powerful 218 hp (160 kW) motor. Both are based on an 800 volt architecture. The car's battery capacity and range have not yet been made official. The B10 offers 600 km.
