Leonardo Awards, winning companies and universities meet Mattarella at the Quirinale

From companies to university students who dedicate their work to Made In Italy. At the Quirinale, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, met the winners of the 28th edition of the Leonardo Awards.
These are awards that the Leonardo Committee, set up in 1993 on the initiative of ICE, Confindustria and a group of entrepreneurs and operating with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, confers on companies 'capable of interpreting the value of Italian know-how and representing the best of Made in Italy, with the aim of promoting and enhancing it'.
The award-winning companies
Giovanni Ferrero, Executive Chairman of the Ferrero Group, was awarded the Leonardo Award 2025. To Giuseppe Lavazza, chairman of the Lavazza Group, the Leonardo Award for Sustainability and Innovation 2025.
The Leonardo Qualità Italia 2025 Award was presented to Fabrizio Di Amato, president and founder of Maire, to Armando de Nigris, president of Acetificio Marcello De Nigris 1889, to Alessandro Garrone, executive vice-president of the Erg Group, and to Marco Nocivelli, managing director of Epta SpA.
Finally, the Leonardo Impresa Sociale 2025 Prize was awarded to Alberto Balestrazzi, founder auticon Italia; the Leonardo Impresa Giovane 2025 Prize to Matteo Minelli, CEO Universo Flea; the Leonardo International 2025 Prize to Byung Joon Han, co-founder and CEO Silicon Box.
