Leonardo: Crosetto addresses the board of directors and outlines the 2026 strategic policy document

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Defence Minister Guido Crosetto addressed Leonardo’s board of directors, outlining the 2026 strategic policy document published in recent weeks. According to a statement from the Ministry of Defence, the minister attended the board meeting of the aerospace and defence group at the invitation of Chairman Francesco Macrì and Chief Executive Lorenzo Mariani.

Crosetto presented the document on future defence requirements and focused on the sector’s development prospects, technological innovation and the role that the national industrial system is called upon to play in the new international strategic context, against a backdrop of growing integration between industrial capabilities, security and the national interest. In addition to Leonardo’s board, the meeting was also attended by Co-Chief Executive Giampiero Cutillo and members of the board of statutory auditors.
