Leonardo: the joint venture with Edge will also serve as a platform for selling the M-346 fighter aircraft

The UAE-based Edge Group, one of the world’s leading groups in the advanced technology sector, and Leonardo have provided further details on the future establishment of a joint venture aimed at developing, marketing, manufacturing and supporting some of the most advanced defence sensors and key systems available globally. It will focus on a range of defence capabilities, including airborne radars for next-generation stealth platforms, the Kronos Grand Mobile High-Power radar, combat management systems and sensors for multi-mission aircraft. The joint venture will also serve as a commercial platform to promote and sell the M-346 fighter/trainer aircraft and other defence capabilities in European and international markets.
