The 'Liguria of the Rings' is born between slow tourism and the digital turnaround
With a total investment of eight million, four cycling-friendly routes were created

At the International Tourism Exchange (Bit) in Milan, the Region Liguria brings a strategy that focuses on pathways and innovation to redesign the future of regional tourism.
Thus the 'Liguria degli Anelli' (Liguria of the Rings) was born, a new system of ring routes that crosses the entire region.
These are ring routes, financed by the Single National Fund for Tourism with a dowry of 4 million, plus another 4 million made available by the provinces.
Thus, four routes have been created for the time being in the provinces of Genoa, Imperia and Savona, which provide cyclists, hikers and travellers with a series of accessible open-air experiences among medieval villages and forests. The creation of another route in the province of La Spezia is also being studied.
The project networks a total of about 400 kilometres of routes connecting the coast and the hinterland according to a model that aims to enhance the lesser known inland areas, promoting a model of slow and sustainable tourism.
