limehome - an operator specialising in Europe in the offer of flats and hotel rooms managed with fully digitalised processes - announces its entry into the Czech Republic with the opening of an office in Prague, bringing to 11 the number of countries in which it is present in Europe.
The entry into the Czech Republic," reads a note, "confirms the positive year recorded by the company, which has already equalled the growth rate of 2023 with the contracting of another 2,000 new units in the third quarter of 2024. In a stagnant real estate market, limehome has expanded its portfolio by 33 per cent since January.
The Prague opening further consolidates limehome's presence in Central Europe. The new building is located on Halkova Street, and is an existing property: a hotel located near Wenceslas Square and close to the city's shopping and cultural centre. The building will offer 49 residential units, including spacious penthouses (90 sqm) and a large communal terrace. It is scheduled to open by November.
In Italy the real estate portfolio increases
.One year after its launch in Italy, the company increases its portfolio with new properties in Verona, Milan, Bari and Rome to more than 250 units. A new project in the heart of the historic centre of Milan, between the Teatro alla Scala, the Duomo and the Castello Sforzesco, underlines limehome's desire for unique locations. The flats will blend the classic architectural charm typical of historic buildings with modern design and comfort. Guests will also be able to enjoy views of the city of Milan from a communal terrace on the sixth floor.
In Verona, limehome secured its first project located in 'La Vigna in Città', renowned for its 100-year-old vineyard in the inner courtyard. In the heart of the Veronetta district, guests will be able to explore an area full of medieval architecture, artisan workshops and art galleries from November 2024. limehome also announced a new project in Rome's Pigneto district, which will be operational by the end of November 2024, and two other locations in Salerno and on the Amalfi Coast ready to welcome guests as early as this year. Finally, it will also open two new hotels in Bari between 2026 and 2028.
"By the end of the year," said Alessandro Giuffrè, Country Manager Italy & Director Expansion of limehome, "we expect to contract between 400 and 500 units, considering the rich pipeline under negotiation in several strategic Italian destinations from Veneto to Sicily; we do not exclude any opportunity a priori, aware that Italy is one of the European countries with the greatest shortage of innovative and contemporary offerings. We consider office conversions, new residential or hotellerie developments, and enhancement of existing structures with high potential'.
