Lodi, Gdf discovers €250,000 tax evasion by two Onlyfans influencers
The Fiamme Gialle reconstructed undeclared earnings from subscriptions and donations on Onlyfans, contesting direct taxes, VAT and a specific ethical tax
The financiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Lodi concluded two tax inspections against two Italian influencers, known on Onlyfans, an online platform for the diffusion of adult content, succeeding in reconstructing the relative earnings, perceived over time, amounting to over 250,000 euro, derived from the diffusion of web content, without however declaring them to the tax authorities.
In particular, thanks to the economic-financial police activity carried out by the financiers of the Lodi Group, it was possible to identify the totally evasive conduct engaged in by the two influencers, who, through the British platform Onlyfans, received proceeds from their followers' monthly subscription fees and received 'donations' via bank transfer, on their current accounts.
The total proceeds verified by the investigators of the Lodi-based Fiamme Gialle were the subject of charges for direct tax and VAT violations.
As part of the tax activity, the counting of the so-called 'ethical tax' on undeclared income was also carried out, i.e. the ethical tax introduced since 2006, which provides for a 25% surcharge on the income tax of entrepreneurs and self-employed persons who carry out, even non-exclusively, activities related to the production, distribution, sale of pornographic material or the production, promotion, representation of shows and content inciting to violence.
