Electronics: Lombardy-based Elemaster enters the Indian market thanks to Syrma
New plant in Bangalore as part of a joint venture with the Indian Group – Synergies in high-reliability electronics for the rail, industrial, energy and medical sectors
A new step towards internationalisation for the Lombardy-based Elemaster Group, which, thanks to its joint venture with the Indian companies Syrma SGS and Syrma SGS Technology – key players in the electronics manufacturing and design ecosystem in Europe and India – has opened a new factory dedicated to the production of high-reliability electronics in Bangalore, India.
The opening marks a significant milestone in the joint venture’s journey to develop advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities in India and to support customers in domestic and global markets, particularly in sectors where quality, reliability and rigorous manufacturing standards are essential requirements.
Located in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, the factory, which covers over 1,800 square metres, is equipped with advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT) production lines, as well as box-build assembly facilities. The facility was built to meet the growing demand for high-reliability electronics in sectors such as rail and transport, industrial electronics, energy and medical electronics, whilst enabling the joint venture to support global OEMs with high-quality manufacturing in India.
