Lombardy confirmed on the board of Sviluppo Lavoro Italia
Regional councillor Simona Tironi was unanimously nominated by the Italian regions to remain as a councillor of Anpal Servizi's successor company
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Simona Tironi, Lombardy Region's councillor for Education, Training and Labour, has been unanimously confirmed by the Italian regions as a member of the board of directors of Sviluppo Lavoro Italia, the company that inherits the history, experience and territorial network of Anpal Servizi. The company operates as a connection point between the Ministry of Labour, Regions and Autonomous Provinces and is a strategic body dedicated to the promotion and coordination of initiatives aimed at employment development, vocational training and the integration of labour supply and demand. This confirmation is a bipartisan attestation of esteem and trust in Tironi, shared by regional administrations of all political orientations, united by the desire to enhance skills, experience and the ability to build institutional dialogue on strategic labour and training issues. In particular, the Lombardy Region's presence on the board will make it possible to bring to the national level the best experiences developed in the Lombardy region, enhancing innovative models related to active labour policies, training and employment.

"Lombardy continues to be the leading region of the Italian economy, with a dynamic and innovative production fabric. We are going through a complex phase, characterised by employment disputes and difficulties involving many production realities, but we must continue to invest in job quality, skills and training," Tironi commented.
