Lottomatica: Angelozzi says Cirsa acquisition is proceeding as planned, with the deal due to be finalised in the second quarter of 2027

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - “Everything is going according to plan” and “we therefore confirm that we expect the deal to close in the second quarter of 2027”. This was stated by Lottomatica’s Chairman and CEO, Guglielmo Angelozzi, as he concluded the first part of the presentation to analysts regarding the acquisition of the Spanish group Cirsa. The respective management teams are working on the integration so as to “be 100 per cent ready” to begin implementing the integration plan from the closing date. Regarding the roadmap to the closing, Angelozzi noted that the syndication of the bridge loan to finance the transaction has been completed and that all applications for the necessary authorisations have been submitted. The shareholders’ meetings to approve the merger will be held by the end of November (on 23 November for Lottomatica and 30 November for Cirsa).
