Lottomatica: Angelozzi named Europe’s best CEO by Extel in the Leisure & Hotels Mid Cap sector
The group’s chief executive has taken top spot in the 2026 European rankings, whilst CFO Laurence Van Lancker has been named the sector’s best finance director. Angelozzi also ranks second in the global sector rankings
Lottomatica has received a significant accolade in the Extel Survey 2026, the annual survey conducted by the independent research firm Extel based on the assessments of around 1,500 institutional investors and international financial analysts.
In the 2026 edition of the survey, Guglielmo Angelozzi, chief executive of the Lottomatica Group, was named the best CEO in Europe in the ‘Leisure & Hotels’ Mid Cap sector. In the same sector, Laurence Van Lancker, the group’s chief financial officer, was ranked first among European CFOs.
In the overall rankings for the “Leisure & Hotels” sector, Angelozzi also took second place amongst CEOs, confirming the international financial community’s high regard for the group’s management and the results achieved by Lottomatica.
The Extel Survey is regarded as one of the most authoritative surveys in the international financial sector for the assessment of listed companies and their senior management.
