Luiss Business School, open innovation and intellectual property, 9th edition of the master course kicks off

The 9th edition of the inter-university 2nd level master's degree in open innovation & intellectual property by Luiss Business School, University of Turin and SAA School of Management will start on 12 April. The programme trains experts in innovation and intellectual property, providing the skills to study the entire innovation life cycle: from the conception of the idea, to creation, to protection, to commercial exploitation and anti-competitive uses. At a time when the data of the European Patent Office (EPO) on 2023, published a few days ago, see Italy in eleventh place in the international ranking for the number of patent applications submitted - 5053 with a +3.8% compared to 2022 - the training proposal intends to contribute to increasing awareness and the ability to manage the potential of intellectual property, and patents in particular, as a driving force for the promotion of collaborative innovation initiatives for the development of our country, providing the tools to those who want to enter the sector for the first time and assisting those who are already protagonists in it.

The 20 scholarships worth EUR 7,000 made available by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy - General Directorate for the Protection of Industrial Property, testify to the attention paid to a strategic sector for economic growth. The partnership between Luiss Business School, the University of Turin and the SAA School of Management guarantees, thanks also to the universities' many years of experience in training design and the high-level faculty, a distinctive course that ensures the quality of the content and teaching methodology, a network of selected contacts and privileged access to the world of innovation.
