The annual Luxury Summit del Sole 24 Ore will return on 7 May, the customary appointment with the world of the high-end segment that always falls in spring, a season that this year takes on a special significance of possible rebirth and in any case of "optimism of reason", despite the many unknowns economic and geopolitical uncertainties of the early months of the year.

The title chosen for 2025 is 'Responsible Luxury, Guarantee of Excellence'. The event will be held in Milan next Wednesday, 7 May, at Magna Pars in via Tortona. An opportunity to analyse the present and plan the future of a sector called upon to reinvent itself: in the current context, characterised by new economic and cultural challenges , the only way out of the crisis is to focus on quality and responsibility. A combination that means care for the environment, respect for workers and transparency in production, internally and throughout the supply chain.

The event will take place in a live&digital format from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be introduced by Fabio Tamburini, editor-in-chief of Il Sole 24 Ore, and Federico Silvestri, managing director of Gruppo 24 Ore. The debate will open with a reflection on the future involving Giovanna Ceolini, president of Confindustria Accessori Moda, Stefania Lazzaroni, director general of the Altagamma Foundation, Helen Brocklebank, ceo of Walpole (the British equivalent of Fondazione Altagamma), Carlo Capasa, president of the Fashion Chamber, and Sergio Tamborini, president of Confindustria Moda Textile and Fashion Federation.

Joining us from Japan will be Mario Vattani, Commissioner General for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka; this will be followed by analyses and data, round tables on sustainability and interviews with three protagonists of Italian excellence, Silvio Campara, ceo of Golden Goose, Gianluca Brozzetti, ceo of Vhernier, and Roberto Gavazzi, ceo of Boffi | De Padova, who will broaden their gaze from the traditional sectors of clothing and jewellery to design.

Another new feature for 2025 is the greater space reserved for cosmetics, with testimonials from Federica Polinori, managing director Estée Lauder Companies Italia, and Davide Bollati, president of the Davines group. It is precisely to the cosmetics supply chain - one of the few sectors with strong growth forecasts for 2025 - that the 30-page Special on newsstands the day before the Luxury Summit, Tuesday 6 May, is dedicated.
