Funding from the private healthcare sector to reduce waiting lists
“Health is not a privilege”; the plan provides, amongst other things, for the establishment of an equalisation fund financed by the private healthcare sector and managed by a special national co-ordination body to reduce waiting lists, with powers to intervene regarding staffing and to expand the use of diagnostic facilities, operating theatres and services.
Reduced working hours with no reduction in pay
“Decent work”; including “the statutory minimum wage”, “a reduction in working hours whilst maintaining the same pay”, “equal leave entitlement” and the guarantee of protection in the event of sickness and maternity, including for craftspeople, traders and the self-employed.
Reintroduction of the offence of abuse of office
Also included is a chapter on ‘fair pensions’; ‘Independence for people with disabilities and rights for their carers’; ‘Lower taxes on labour’, with a national strategy to combat tax evasion; ‘Fair prices, short supply chains and legality in agriculture’; “Less bureaucracy and more credit for SMEs”; “Oversight and the rule of law in the public administration”, including the “reintroduction of the offence of abuse of office”.

And also: “Lower bills and cleaner energy”; “A public housing scheme to tackle high rents and empty properties”; “Safe state schools”, with the transfer of “13.5 billion euros” from the Strait Bridge project to “our schools”; “Protection of the land, water and air”; “An end to land consumption, greener cities”; “Freedom of information and protection from digital violence”, a gradual reduction in direct public funding for the publishing sector, “political parties out of the RAI” and “State-run artificial intelligence, so that our public institutions are not influenced by the excessive power of Big Tech”.
