Macron: 'Oslo adheres to French advanced nuclear deterrence'
Norway has decided to join the 'advanced nuclear deterrence' proposed by France to its European allies. This was announced today by President Emmanuel Macron during a meeting in Paris with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store. "France is now opening a dialogue with its close allies on how its nuclear weapons can contribute to European security and deterrence against military threats," the Norwegian leader said at the Elysée Palace alongside the French president, confirming that Oslo wants to be associated with "partners such as Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Nordic countries".
