Manoeuvre, rottamazione quinquies: interest on instalments drops from 4 per cent to 3 per cent
Reformulated amendment on the five-year scrapping scheme with 3% more favourable rate
Key points
The amendment to the manoeuvre bill on the collection quinquies has been reformulated. The change, which must be voted on in the Budget Committee, provides for the rate applied to instalments to be reduced from 4 per cent to 3 per cent, easing the overall cost for taxpayers who opt for deferred payment of the loads entrusted to the tax collection authorities.
54 rates
In particular, for the fifth 'instalment' of the 'pace fiscale', the text of the corrective envisages files spread over 9 years with 54 instalments, each of at least 100 euro.
The 24-year time span
Considering that with the quater rout was definable the loads entrusted to the tax authorities from 1 January 2000 to 30 June 2022, with the quinquies it will be possible to rout any other loads entrusted to the tax authorities in the period from 1 July 2022 to 31 December 2023, thus covering a period of 24 years.
