The 14th edition of Trame Sonore kicks off in Mantua
In Naples the jazz of Stefano Bollani; in Lecco the Nameless Festival
The historic centre of Mantua, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is transformed for the 14th time into a 'sound plot', with three hundred young musicians giving it new life, dialoguing with the public and the monuments. In Naples, the piano jazz of Stefano Bollani, the first stage of the summer tour that will see him in the exceptional formation of Bollani All Stars. In Lecco, the Nameless Festival, a great generational festival presenting international electronics, club culture, bass music and Italian urban/pop.
Mantova
From 29 May to 2 June, the city will once again be transformed into an extraordinary diffuse artistic workshop with the 14th edition of Trame Sonore, the chamber music festival. 300 musicians will be the protagonists of over 150 concerts that will take place from morning to late evening in thirty venues around the city. The festival is constructed as a constantly evolving organism, where artists from all over the world meet and collaborate freely. In this horizontal, friendly and anti-hierarchical dimension, concert stars come together to play alongside young talents, experimenting with repertoires, ensembles and programmes with absolute freedom. Pianist Alexander Lonquich is the Artist in Residence.
