Marco Cappato, treasurer of the Luca Coscioni Association, has been admitted to the Parini hospital in Aosta in recent days following an illness. The 52-year-old activist was in the Alpine region when he felt ill. He was therefore taken to the emergency room of the regional hospital by ambulance. Cappato was discharged from Aosta's Parini hospital today,' reads the bulletin issued by Dr Mario Riccio, his personal physician, 'and his condition is improving. He had been hospitalised on 31 December last 'following a problem of cardiac origin that resulted in a neurological ischaemic crack in the function of the speech articulation alone, which is currently improving'.
Cappato 'performed examinations that confirmed the clinical picture and received the appropriate treatment. He underwent a brain resonance that confirmed the modest extent of the ischaemic damage'. 'In a clinical picture,' writes Dr. Riccio, anaesthetist and general councillor of the Luca Coscioni association, 'although reassuring and improving, Marco Cappato - already discharged today - still needs an adequate period of rest and treatment. Given that the problem that caused the cerebral ischemia was probably caused by the presence of the cardiac Foramen Ovale Pervio, in the coming weeks Marco Cappato will undergo - in election - the closure of the same".
'That's where I spent New Year's Eve: in the emergency room of the U. Parini hospital in Aosta! I was discharged today, after having been hospitalised "following a problem of cardiac origin that produced a neurological ischaemic skim" Serious stuff, but not serious'. Marco Cappato wrote this on X, posting a photo of the Valdostan hospital where he had been admitted in recent days. On the same social site, shortly afterwards, Benedetto Della Vedova's wishes arrived: 'Come on Marco! - wrote the +Europa deputy - the Italy of the rights of liberty and of the responsibility of people for their own destiny has so much need of your determination and of your initiatives that have pushed it forward. But not yet enough'.
