Marco. Do you know who Pannella was? The radical leader told in a video podcast

The second episode, The Body, recounts the centrality of physicality in his political action. The imposing stature of the radical leader, almost two metres tall, becomes an instrument of communication and struggle through his constant recourse to hunger and thirst strikes, extreme practices but consistent with a battle conducted on the issues of human rights, the rule of law and civil liberties.

In the third episode,The Heart, the more empathetic and human dimension of his commitment emerges. In spite of the harsh trials to which he subjected his body, Marco Pannella's heart - also marked by major surgery - remains the engine of a policy aimed at the last, at people on the margins of Italian society and democracy, at denied rights and forgotten frailties.

The fourth and final episode, La testa, delves into Pannella's irregular and apparently chaotic mind. A way of doing politics far from traditional calculation and strategy, but far from improvised. Reviewing over half a century of political battles, the extraordinary fertility of a free thought emerges, capable of producing concrete results and leaving a lasting imprint on Republican history.

Daniele Bellasio

Inter Milan player, father of Rocco, professional journalist since 2000 and Deputy Editor of Il Sole 24 Ore. On Radio 24, he hosts every Saturday morning 'Amici e Nemici - l'informazione della settimana' (Friends and Enemies - the news of the week), the story and analysis of the facts with the greatest impact on the public. After a move to the financial TV of the Class group, he was deputy executive editor of Foglio and chief foreign editor at Repubblica. From 2012 to 2015, he was international, Italian and economic policy consultant for 'Che tempo che fa', the programme hosted by Fabio Fazio on Rai 3. During Expo2015 he coordinated the Communication Office of the Church in Expo. He was responsible for communication at the Catholic University of Milan. From 2021 to 2022, he edited the daily newspaper La Prealpina.

Simone Spetia

He hosts '24 Mattino' and at Radio 24, over the years, he has done everything: radio news, 'Effetto Giorno', programmes dedicated to innovation and technology (Fattore Umano, l'Era dei Robot) and history (Il Gazzettino del Risorgimento). He has worked in TV, press agencies, newspapers. He is interested in politics, economics, finance, social, history, technology. He avidly reads science fiction and obsessively accumulates, attracted by the titles, essays of all kinds. He does not always read them. He plays tennis often, but to little avail. There are six in the family: Anna, three children, the dog and Spetia himself, in descending order of importance.

Sergio Rovasio

Sergio Rovasio, from Turin, began his work with the Radicals at the age of 17. In Rome, he held positions of responsibility in the Radical Party headquarters and in the Radical Parliamentary Groups in the Chamber of Deputies, the European Parliament and the Lazio Region, also working as an assistant to Marco Pannella, as well as organisational roles in congresses and events in Italia and abroad. Today he has a wine shop in Turin. He was General Councillor of the Radical Party, Secretary of the Certi Diritti Association, Treasurer of Cora, and is currently President of the Marco Pannella Association in Turin.
