There is the official announcement of the signing of Kylian Mbappé by Real Madrid, who confirmed in a note that they have reached an agreement with the Paris Saint Germain player for the next five seasons, until 2029. With the signing of the French star, which has been negotiated for months, Florentino Perez's club is aiming for a revival of the Galactic era, thanks to champions, all young, of the calibre of, in addition to Mbappé, Vinicius and Bellingham.
He will earn EUR 15 million per season, plus a bonus of EUR 150 million to be paid over five years, and will keep a percentage of his image rights.
The end of the relationship with Psg
The 2018 World Cup winner surprised PSG last year when he sent a letter stating that he would not use his one-year contract extension option when it expired in June. The letter led to a standoff with the club and Mbappé was dropped from the starting squad before being reinstated.
Allowing Mbappé to complete the final year of his contract meant that PSG could recover nothing of the €180m paid in 2017 to sign him from AS Monaco.
Mbappé became the second most expensive player of all time after his former PSG teammate Neymar, who was signed for €222 million by Barcelona in 2017.
