Mechanical Engineering: Urso calls a meeting with businesses on Tuesday 23rd to discuss support measures and innovation

Adolfo Urso, Minister for Enterprise and Made in Italy, has invited companies in the precision engineering sector to a meeting to discuss strategies, support measures and skills. In a statement, the Mimit has announced that the meeting is

scheduled for Tuesday 23 June at 2.00 pm at Palazzo Piacentini.

The initiative – according to the press release – aims to “promote a sector that is central to the country’s industrial development, by fostering coordination between the Ministry of Economic Development (MIMIT), the regions represented by the State-Regions Conference and the sector’s employers’ associations”. The discussions will focus on strategies for the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, support measures available at national and European level, technological innovation – with particular attention also to the New Transition Plan 5.0 – and training and skills.
