Bernini summons the Rector: a review requested
For this reason, after a few hours, University Minister Anna Maria Bernini summoned the university's rector, Nathan Levialdi Ghiron. A meeting in the evening to reiterate that she considers 'the decision to apply such a high level of taxation to students assigned to the Tirana campus to be wrong'.
To the rector, he also "highlighted the necessity of an immediate review of a request that I consider inconsistent with the aims of the open semester and disproportionate to the principles that must guide the public university system. Such a contribution regime is in fact incompatible with the full and effective implementation of the right to study, which must be guaranteed to all students, regardless of where they attend".
