.Chinese President Xi Jinping praised the ''resilient ties'' between China and Russia on the eve of his meeting with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow tomorrow. The Xinhua news agency writes. ''The two sides must jointly reject all attempts to disrupt the friendship and mutual trust between China and Russia,'' Xi said.

President Xi Jinping, in an article in the Russian media ahead of his visit to Moscow for the 9 May celebrations of the USSR's victory over Nazism, noted that 'this year also marks the 80th anniversary of the reconquest of Taiwan'.
The Cairo Declaration, the Potsdam Proclamation and other documents with international legal force 'confirmed China's sovereignty over Taiwan'.
Xi: "China and Russia constructive forces for global stability"
.China and Russia are 'important countries with significant influence' and 'constructive forces for maintaining global strategic stability and improving global governance'. President Xi Jinping, in an article in the Russian media ahead of his state visit to Moscow, remarked that the bilateral ties 'have a clear historical logic, a solid endogenous driving force and a deep civilisational heritage. They are neither aimed at nor subject to third parties'.
The parties 'must jointly resist any attempt to interfere and undermine friendship and mutual trust', the state-run network Cctv reported.
