Meloni sees JP Morgan CEO, focus on investments in Italy

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni today received Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase, at Palazzo Chigi. This was reported in a note from Palazzo Chigi, explaining that during the meeting the Prime Minister 'had an in-depth discussion on potential additional investments by JP Morgan Chase in strategic sectors for the development of Sistema-Italia. She also shared with CEO Dimon investment opportunities in the fields of infrastructure and artificial intelligence'.

During the discussion with Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni "presented the priorities of the Mattei Plan and the establishment of new financing instruments for projects shared with African nations". This was reported in a Palazzo Chigi note at the end of the meeting, underlining that Meloni "particularly emphasised the possibility of co-financing projects on the continent, with a special focus on the energy sector".
