Mercedes-Amg Gt Coupé 4-door, the electric supercar that overcomes schemes, conventions and preconceptions
With over 1,100 hp, the new model offers the performance of a sports car and the on-board comfort of a saloon.
Key points
The Mercedes-Amg Gt Coupé 4-door makes its debut, a car that marks a turning point in the panorama of high-performance electric sports cars by incorporating some of the features of the Mercedes-Amg Concept Gt XX. It is not just a technological evolution, but a true declaration of intent: to bring the AMG experience into the electric era without sacrificing power, emotion and driving involvement.
Indeed, the new Mercedes-Amg Gt Coupé 4-door shows a completely new approach to the electric supercar concept, combining hypercar performance, ultra-fast charging, motorsport-derived technologies and an extremely sophisticated level of dynamic control. The result is a car that is not just fast: it is designed to be adaptable, intelligent and deeply involving, keeping the AMG s sports car DNA intact even in the electric age.
Over 1,100 hp and axial flow technology
At the heart of the car is a system of three axial-flow electric motors (two at the rear and one at the front) developed in collaboration with Yasa. This architecture allows a total power output of up to 1,169 hp (860 kW), with an immediate and continuous delivery typical of the best hypercars.
Performance is true supercar: 0-100 km/h is covered in 2.1 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 6.4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 300 km/h. Numbers that place the four-door Gt Coupé among the fastest and most sophisticated electric cars ever produced.
800 volt battery and record-breaking charging
The 800 Volt electric platform is designed to handle extreme power, up to more than 600 kW in fast charging. Under optimum conditions, the car can recover about 460 km of range in just 10 minutes, while going from 10 to 80 per cent takes about 11 minutes.
