The profits of the Mercedes-Benz automotive group plummeted vertically: in the first half of 2025 they stopped at EUR 2.68 billion, in the same period of 2024 they had been EUR 6.08 billion, a drop of 55.8 per cent. This was announced by the company when presenting its mid-year figures. The group announced that it will revise its estimates for this year, whose total turnover will certainly be below that of 2024.

Porsche's profits also plummeted in the first half of the year: from EUR 3.06 billion in the first half of 2024 to the current EUR 1.01 billion, a drop of 67%, forcing the company to revise its estimates for 2025 for the third time in a year. Porsche itself announced this when presenting the figures for the first half of 2025. Customer deliveries also dropped by 6.1 per cent, from 155,945 to 146,391. The German manufacturer stated that the profit margin on sales for 2025 could fall to as low as 5 per cent, compared to the previous target of at least 6.5 per cent. "We continue to face significant challenges around the world," said CEO Oliver Blume. "And this is not a storm that will pass."
