Mercedes VLE, everything we know about Stuttgart's first electric Multi-Purpose Vehicle
It is based on the new modular Van Electric Architecture platform and the battery will have a capacity of 115 kWh
On 10 March, the new Mercedes VLE will be officially presented in Stuttgart, the first model from the house of the three-pointed star to be developed on the new modular platform for VANs, marking the beginning of a new era.
The new VLE was born with the aim of combining the best of two worlds, combining the comfort and driving dynamics of a limousine with the versatility of a Multi-Purpose Vehicle.
With up to eight seats and innovative cabin solutions, the VLE redefines the concept of space by offering flexible solutions for families and active leisure customers up to first-class shuttles.
The VLE is equipped as standard with advanced safety and assistance systems and, thanks to the rear axle steered by up to 7° and the more direct steering, offers high performance in terms of both agility and stability. Thanks also to the more direct steering ratio, the driver needs fewer turns of the steering wheel to make a complete turn.
Finally, it was announced that VLE will be equipped with a 115 kWh battery.
