In Tuscany open doors in 33 residences
There are numerous 'offers' in Tuscany. From the house of Michelangelo Buonarroti to the villa of Giovanni Spadolini, via the residences of Giacomo Puccini and Leonardo da Vinci, no less than 33 house museums in the region are taking part in the event. In addition to the house where Michelangelo Buonarroti was born (in Caprese Michelangelo, in the province of Arezzo), the Casa Giovanni Boccaccio in Certaldo Alto (Florence) or that of Amedeo Modigliani in Livorno will also be open to visitors. In Florence it will be possible to visit 'La casa dei libri', the country villa of Giovanni Spadolini designed in the 1960s by the architect brother of the historian, journalist and statesman.
In Tognazzi's house
Once again this year, the Ugo Tognazzi house museum (whose centenary of birth was celebrated last year) in Velletri (fifty kilometres from Rome), where the actor lived with his family from the early 1960s until his death in 1990, will be open to the public. Now the estate is coordinated by his son Gianmarco Tognazzi.
