According to the reported assessments, Israel is reportedly primarily interested in obtaining details on the Trump administration's negotiating strategy in talks with the Islamic Republic.

The death toll of the Israeli Armed Forces attack today in the heart of Gaza City in an area described as overcrowded and inhabited by numerous displaced families has risen to seven dead and fifteen wounded. According to medical sources from the intensive care unit of the al-Shifa hospital, contacted by AL Jazeera, another 14 people are in intensive care. The attack - explains the Qatari broadcaster - targeted a tent, adjacent to another where a wedding party was apparently taking place, when two missiles fired by an Israeli drone caused a loud explosion and general panic. The Ramallah-based news agency, Wafa, reports that six Palestinians were killed and at least 15 others wounded Saturday afternoon in an IDF attack on Gaza City. The raid targeted a tent of displaced people in the Al-Rimal neighbourhood.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has condemned the Israeli attack in which three Lebanese soldiers were killed. Overall, Israeli air raids on southern Lebanon today killed nine people, including three members of the Lebanese army. This was reported by the Associated Press on its website citing the Lebanese army and state media. An air raid on a vehicle on the road connecting the town of Nabatieh with the town of Marjayoun killed a brigadier general, a captain and another soldier, the army said.
