Milan-Cortina, first 4,500 hires coming for the winter games

There are many ways to participate in the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. One is to apply to work there, and the opportunities are numerous. In fact, the first 4,500 direct and induced recruitments are on the way. Seeking the profiles is Randstad, the company that provides employment services and is hr partner of the event. The hires will take place in the different areas of the great sports event, between Milan, Cortina and Anterselva, Valtellina and Val di Fiemme. In particular, 1,500 people will be placed in the Milan Cortina 2026 Foundation in February and March 2026. Another 3,000 people will instead be placed in companies in the various sectors of the allied industries. In particular, Randstad is looking for almost 2,600 profiles in the Milan area, one thousand between Cortina and Anterselva, 460 for Val di Fiemme and almost 500 for Valtellina.

The selections will begin with a national Recruiting Day on 28 May involving Randstad's 270 branches. For those wishing to apply, this will be a free-access appointment, with no need for a reservation, open to job seekers.

Among the sought-after profiles are assistants and managers for visitor and staff assistance, assistants and managers for accreditation, assistants and managers for workforce management, but also staff for the help desk, data entry, photographers and multimedia personnel, fleet managers and various profiles for all facilities activities.

In the ancillary companies, various profiles are sought, from hostesses to maintenance technicians, from restaurant and kitchen staff to media consultants, from security staff to cleaning staff, from scaffold erectors to checkout staff, logistics operators, contact centre and customer support staff, field operation managers, bus assistants and accommodation supervisors.
