Increasing integration of advanced technologies and more focus on sustainability. The year 2025 of telematics companies, major players in corporate mobility, promises to be marked by new features that will make cars safer and more efficient, improving the overall user experience.

"Next year the industry will be characterised by a profound digital transformation and a strong focus on sustainability," explains Gabriele Natoli, stream leader for sharing & rental at Octo Telematics. "The widespread adoption of artificial intelligence will enable real-time monitoring of fleets, optimising costs, safety and operational efficiency.

It is betting on Ia developments to anticipate vehicle maintenance needs and optimise routes, cutting time and costs. Always with sustainability in its sights. "It will be at the centre of the company's strategies, supported by dedicated reports," confirms Natoli. For the coming year, Geotab also has high expectations related to Ia. "It will be enhanced to improve fleet management, optimise routes and maintenance," says Franco Viganò, director, strategic channel development & country manager of Geotab. "It will play a key role, also in adopting electric vehicles with smart charging and monitoring solutions.

"The mobility of the future will be centred on data, a fundamental element for making strategic decisions and achieving business objectives. In a complex and fragmented ecosystem, we specialise in the development of advanced telematics solutions to collect, analyse and process large amounts of data generated by the different types of vehicles that make up the fleet," emphasises Alberto Falcione, VP Sales at Targa Telematics. The impression is that 2025 could be the year when fleet managers will rethink their car lists in a more reasoned way. "We believe it could be a year that will mark more awareness in the choice of vehicles to put in the fleet," suggests Roberto Moneda, director of Texa's Tmd division.

The car will remain the pivot on which companies' mobility will revolve, even though flexibility now seems to be a must. "Companies will increasingly adopt digital solutions, such as mobility management apps and real-time monitoring platforms," says Paolo Malerba, chief business officer of Telepass, "guaranteeing flexibility for employees thanks to solutions that combine different means, such as cars, shared vehicles and public transport.
