Moscow accuses the UK of taking part in the Russian-Ukrainian war

Russia is threatening to strike factories that produce drones and British missile components for Ukraine. Moscow, in fact, following Prime Minister Andy Burnham gave the go-ahead yesterday for sharing with Kyiv the technology required to manufacture Storm Shadow cruise missiles in Ukraine, Moscow is accusing the United Kingdom of “taking part in the war”.
The former Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Kremlin insider, Andrey Fedorov, told ‘BBC Newsnight’ that the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is under “enormous pressure” from “politics” and “public opinion” to “take certain measures against the United Kingdom”. And these measures, he explained, “could involve a verbal response but perhaps also some form of concrete action”.
Among the possible forms of response, Fedorov cited a “technical reaction”, such as cyber-attacks carried out by unidentified sources, clarifying that these would not officially originate from the Russian state. But that is not all.
The former Russian Deputy Foreign Minister has not ruled out “a possible semi-military response” which could target “factories and companies that produce drones and missile components for Ukraine”.
According to Fedorov, hackers could also target “specific companies” involved in the manufacture of drones or components for Storm Shadow missiles, the British version of the Scalp.
