The willing are speeding up: 26 countries are ready to set up a 'reassurance force', even deploying troops in Ukraine, as part of a possible ceasefire, but Italy, as announced, is shying away from a direct commitment on the ground.
The coalition heads of state and government met today in a hybrid summit. At the end of the meeting, the leaders held long-distance talks with US President Donald Trump.
