Elon Musk called Donald Trump on Monday night and they had a brief conversation, a White House official told CNN. Musk later regretted on X that he had "gone too far" in his critical posts last week against US President Donald Trump. The disagreement had erupted after the owner of Tesla and Space X, who had left the Doge's, had severely attacked the new government spending bill promoted by the White House. The billionaire had called the proposed legislation 'a disgusting abomination' and called for 'political punishment' of Republican parliamentarians who had supported it. The measure is considered a pillar of the second Trump administration and aims to revive several strategic sectors of the American economy.
